Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. — Sirdacious Alencard III, Prime regent of aldan and head of the counsel on Arcana and historical affairs.
The world Alcour is a water world, covered almost entirely by water. Yet there are a few small main continents and almost an immeasurable amount of scattered islands that dot the face of the planet. As almost as many islands that litter Alcour’s oceans, there are races that populate its land and … water regions. Some cultures live entirely on artificially made land continents that drift upon the face of Alcour’s waters. Some believe that many of today’s indigenous land races had their start in the water, and were born of one water race that reached land and later dispersed among the many islands that now exist. Yet many more believe this to be myth, and ignore the more recent tales of strange encounters at sea with intelligent sea dwelling races.
